Abstract Nano-sized hydroxyapatite(HA) powder was prepared by means of liquid precipitation method and its crystal structure and the characteristic were analyzed using X-ray diffraction and SEM. The effects of reaction temperature, pH value and aging time on the Powder particle size and phase composition were investigated. The results show on condition that value the reaction temperature is 90oC, pH value is 10 and the aging time is 12 h, the pure and integrate HA crystals with average diameter of 70 nm can be gained.
