Abstract  A microstructure consisted of a NiAl martensite as a matrix, γ'-Ni3Al distributed along the grain boundaries of the matrix and with a network appearance, and a few retained β-NiAl was resulted from annealing at 1523K for 2h in a rapidly solidified Ni-34.6
